Nordisk since 1901 — outdoor gear designed to last

Nordisk was founded in 1901 with down and feathers as its foundation. Today we are one of Europe's most experienced outdoor specialists — with a range that covers everything from ultralight tents and technical down sleeping bags to cotton tarps, down jackets and camp gear.

Every product is designed in Denmark and developed with the same starting point: functionality over excess, durability over trends and materials selected with care.

What will you find in the Nordisk range?

Tents
From ultralight tents for hikers and bikepackers to spacious technical cotton tents for glamping and family camping. Nordisk has been making outdoor tents since 1901 — with the same philosophy every time: functional design, carefully selected materials and precise construction.

Sleeping bags
Down sleeping bags with RDS-certified European down made in our facility in Görlitz, Germany — and synthetic sleeping bags that retain their thermal properties even in wet conditions. From summer sleeping bags to technical winter sleeping bags for expedition use.

Tarps & Bivy
Lightweight tarps in high-performance nylon for hikers and bikepackers who prioritise low weight and flexibility. Cotton tarps in technical cotton for basecamp and glamping. Bivy bags for those who want to get closer to nature than any tent allows.

Down jackets & outerwear
Women's down jackets and men's down jackets with RDS-certified European down, PFAS-free treatment and welded baffles. Shell jackets in PFAS-free nylon with hydrophilic lamination and fully taped seams. Lifestyle apparel that brings the Scandinavian design aesthetic into everyday use.

Gear & accessories
Sleeping mats, pillows, bags and down slippers — developed with the same demands on materials and durability as the rest of the range.

Around the camp
Camp furniture, wood burners, storage solutions and Madam Blå — classic Danish design for the camp table.

The down specialist since 1901

Down has been part of Nordisk's DNA for 125 years. That is not a promise — it is a craft. From the first down products in the early 20th century to today's RDS-certified European goose down sourced from traceable production — every decision has been made with the same question: will it last?

Our down sleeping bags are made in our own facility in Görlitz, Germany. Our tents are designed in Denmark. Our outerwear is built for those who do not want to choose between function and style.

Materials

We use RDS-certified down from traceable production. Our shell jackets and tents are treated with PFAS-free water-repellent coatings. We design products to be repaired and kept in use for many years.
